Nurse-Family Partnership

Nurse-Family Partnership® (NFP) is a proven program than empowers moms with low incomes to successfully change their lives and the lives of their children with the support of a nurse.

With your very own free Nurse-Family Partnership personal nurse, you will get the support, advice and information you need during your pregnancy and when your baby arrives.

Studies show lots of great things happen for moms and babies who participate in this program.  Some examples are improved health during pregnancy, helping children be ready to start school and fewer childhood injuries.

To participate in NFP clients must:

· Be pregnant
· Meet income requirements

    · You qualify if you are eligible for Medicaid/WIC
·  Live in Mecklenburg County
