Empowering individuals with limited resources
to establish and maintain good health.
We envision a community that promotes, protects and improves the health and wellbeing of all people.
Care Ring is a vital link in achieving this vision.
Founded in 1955, Care Ring is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing health services for the uninsured, underinsured or those lacking access to affordable, high-quality preventive health care. The organization annually serves more than 7,000 people in Mecklenburg County and is a leader in collaborative efforts to improve community health.
Compassion: We believe every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and kindness.
We are passionate about caring for the people we serve.

to be inclusive and open in fulfilling our mission.
Collaboration: We embrace poverty-fighting partners and actively seek partnerships with other
individuals and organizations to best serve those in need.
Empowerment: We strive to empower the people we serve, encouraging them to take responsibility for their health by giving them the tools and the education they need to thrive.
